Hi there moms!!! Thanks for stopping by again today. I really appreciate your engagement on this page. As promised I told you I would let you gals in on my daily devotional.
As a young girl I use to love reading. It was one of the places I liked getting lost. As I’ve gotten older I have found myself reading, but I don’t read as much due to limited time. I still try to get reading in here and there, but it’s so hard when you start adding on daily duties as a mom and wife.
Lately I’ve just been trying to stay focused on reading my Bible. Some days I get busy and I have to reel myself back in and set mental reminders that I didn’t create myself…So, I better find the time to spend with the one who created me because without Him I wouldn’t be who I am today.
It’s a two way relationship. So, if I want God to speak I have to remember I also have to talk to Him as well.
My scripture reading yesterday was Psalm 16:8 – “I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”
Sometimes in our Faith we can get shaken. According t0 this scripture as long as we keep our eyes on God we don’t have to be shaken. I can attest that it’s when the human and fleshly side of us kicks in that we become shaken and fearful.
I’ve had those moments where I just wasn’t sure, but I always have to find that quiet place and remind myself that God is in control. So, never feel you are alone as a woman and think that other women don’t get shaken in their Faith because we do. Some have a better way of covering it up or not showing it than others.
From one mom to another, my encouragement to you today is keep your eyes on God. He holds all answers and your future.
Until next time…
